Company recognized by national buying group in two categories
Cedarburg, Wis., November 12, 2018 – Cedar Crest Ice Cream has received two outstanding marketing awards from QCS Purchasing, a member-owned, not-for-profit supply-chain solutions provider for the food and beverage industry, as part of its annual awards competition.
“We’re excited and honored to win these prestigious awards, and showcase two of our top initiatives in 2018,” said Ken Kohlwey, Cedar Crest president.
The two winning categories are:
Outstanding Marketing Campaign (grand prize category): Frozen Custard Launch, which introduced the six-flavor product line, with the theme, “Life vs. Living”
Best Print Collateral: The Great Parlor Road Trip, which featured a map and passport that encouraged consumers to visit participating parlors for a chance to win prizes
“We are always looking for fun and innovative ways to engage our customers. The launch of our new frozen custard line and parlor contest offered great avenues to do that,” continued Kohlwey.
The awards honor member and supply partner organizations that have launched creative marketing efforts and campaigns that effectively compete in the ever-changing food and beverage manufacturing industry.
The winners were announced at the 2018 QCS Leadership Conference in Austin, Texas, in November. Judging for the marketing award competition was conducted independently by food and beverage marketing industry leaders.
